The County Pep Group has a remarkable role in Wayanad Tourism. It was Mr. Paulose Pailie , who is one among the pioneers of the Wayanad Tourism, instigated ‘County Pep Homestay ‘ in 2007 and subsequently the Family group initiated many more endeavours . Mr. Benny Paulose, the son of Mr. Paulose who is a recently retired Govt. High School Teacher is now in charge of the new Venture , ‘Pauls Retreat’ .
